Queen's Domain Walkthrough: Keys, Endu and Tower
Follow Queen's Domain opening progression from the Dagger Belt to the shrine key and Endu, then check the second Wind Gem and Tower entrance requirements.
Quick answer
Get the Dagger Belt near the shipwreck, throw a dagger at the Crypt door's diamond target, and collect the Endu Shrine Gate Key from the central burial area. Use it at the Shrine of Endu, defeat the Shrine Guardian and obtain Holy Sword Endu. Next, seek the second Wind Gem near Cemetery Precipice. Opening the Tower later requires the Azure Torch and three outdoor gargoyle beacons; the milestones here are not a continuous route between every area.
Start with the Dagger Belt and Crypt switch
- From the first Crystal Monument, search the small rocky islands beside the shipwreck for the Dagger Belt. Equip it so throwing daggers are available.
- Return to the first monument. Follow the uphill path northwest and look down from its end into the lower clearing with the large tree and enemies.
- Clear the enemies before dropping into the clearing. From where you land, distinguish the two doorways: the other opening provides a shortcut toward the starting area, while the doorway near the braziers leads underground.
- At the brazier-marked doorway, throw a dagger into the small diamond-shaped target beside the door. Enter the dungeon and descend the ramp.
The opening route supplies these connecting landmarks. The video at 0:55–1:16 independently shows the beach-to-Crypt, switch, key and exit-elevator sequence.
The Dagger Belt location and door interaction are documented in the puzzle guide and opening walkthrough. This door uses a ranged target; the shrine key is a later objective. Dagger Belt ammunition recharges over time, so a missed throw does not permanently exhaust the supply, as described in the opening route and weapon reference.
Collect the shrine key and obtain Endu
Inside the Crypt, descend through the first floor into the lower chamber with the small central shrine. Clear the enemies and collect the sparkling Endu Shrine Gate Key from that shrine. The chest to its east is a useful landmark; it is not the shrine entrance.
- Leave through the far side of this lower floor and take the elevator to the surface above the first Crystal Monument.
- Rest if needed and save manually at the monument.
- Walk back toward the beach and the two islands where you collected the Dagger Belt. Just beyond them, look for the small fenced area and the guard outside its gate: this is the Shrine of Endu.
- Use the Endu Shrine Gate Key at that gate and prepare for the Shrine Guardian before entering.
- Keep distance and use your healing supplies when needed. TechRaptor's boss account specifically warns that its overhead strike reaches far: retreat when it raises its sword. The video at 1:17–1:35 also recommends keeping distance, though it does not document that exact cue.
- After victory, interact with the Guardian, collect the Stone Duck Figurine, and continue beyond it to Holy Sword Endu. The sword supplies Wind Dash for air traversal.
The written opening walkthrough, video route and Endu weapon listing support the key, shrine and sword sequence.
The Stone Duck Figurine obtained after the Shrine Guardian enables access to Umbada's Trading Outpost through a Crystal Monument. Interact with a monument to use that connection. The figurine's role is described in the opening walkthrough and puzzle reference.
Why do early enemies seem unusually durable?
Allow the Power Meter to recover between melee attacks rather than swinging continuously. Rapid attacks with an empty meter greatly reduce damage, so timing is a useful first adjustment when an enemy seems excessively durable. Both the opening walkthrough and achievement guide describe this effect.
Does resting save my progress?
Resting and saving are separate actions. At a Crystal Monument, restore health if needed, then manually save instead of treating the rest as confirmation that progress was recorded. This distinction appears in the opening walkthrough and exploration reference.
Return for the second Wind Gem
After obtaining Endu, follow the uphill route from the starting area toward the higher Cemetery Precipice Crystal Monument. The video at 1:59 identifies this as the second save point above the first.
From the Cemetery Precipice Crystal Monument:
- Face north and approach the graves near the cliff.
- Turn east and follow the wall to the raised path that slopes down near a tree.
- Climb the rubble and follow the upper road north.
- At its end, turn west toward the broken towers.
- Dash onto the broken tower on the right, then jump from the rubble to the small tower containing the second Wind Gem.
These detailed turns come from the exploration route. The opening walkthrough and video at 1:59–2:12 corroborate the raised-rubble/pillars approach and gem pickup. The gem provides a second consecutive air dash, needed for the western broken bridge.
Wind Gems expand Endu's available dashes, whereas the Storm Gem adds an offensive ability. Do not substitute a Storm Gem objective for a missing Wind Gem charge. The distinction is documented in the weapon guide and weapon table.
Treat the Tower as a later progression checkpoint
The second Wind Gem is not presented here as a complete route to an immediately accessible Tower. At the Tower entrance, take the nearby Azure Torch; opening the building requires lighting three outdoor gargoyle beacons. Return after all three are lit, as described in the opening walkthrough and video around 5:34–5:43.
| Tower obstacle | Documented action | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Sealed exterior entrance | Use the Azure Torch to light three outdoor gargoyle beacons | Opens the Tower |
| Numbered interior gargoyles | Light 3 and 7 with the Azure Torch | Opens an interior passage |
| Staircase below the Storm Gem platform | Reach and activate its switch | Rotates the staircase toward an elevator route |
The numbered statues are a separate puzzle from the outdoor beacons. Incorrect interior activations can trigger enemies. Follow the rotated staircase to the elevator and speak to Budaen for the Forbidden Archives Key; these interior steps appear in the puzzle guide and exploration account.
Use Necronomicon for the documented encounter pattern or Book Puzzles for the separate library collection.
What if an older route shows a stuck door?
Steam patch 1.01.01, posted October 30, 2026, lists fixes for the Executioner door, the Pit of Despair soft lock and missing water-return pits around Neasied. Compare those specific symptoms with the official patch entries rather than assuming every blocked route has the same cause.
Route boundaries
The detailed opening route above ends with Endu and the second Wind Gem. Tower entry is a later milestone: the final outdoor beacon follows Obmuer Temple and Dagoom, so two dash charges alone do not open the Tower. Use the progression video at 5:22 and puzzle guide for the outdoor beacon sequence. This page does not claim an end-to-end route through every later dungeon or an independently measured completion time.
