Use the right action for the obstruction

Not every blocked route is an interactable secret wall. First distinguish a concealed entrance from a socketed door, flame puzzle, staircase mechanism or fleshy barrier. Their documented requirements differ, as shown in the exploration reference, Pandora interaction guide and puzzle guide.

Interact with suspected secret walls

Use E with default keyboard controls to interact with a suspected concealed wall. Hitting it with a weapon is not the documented opening action. This distinction is stated in the Pandora guide and full-game exploration account.

What does a pointing skeleton tell me?

A deliberately pointing skeleton can indicate a nearby wall worth inspecting. Follow its indicated direction and try the documented interaction rather than assuming weapon damage opens the passage. This is a search clue, not a rule covering every secret; compare the demo-focused clue account and full-game reference.

Early secret 1: the shrine-key chamber meal

Start in the underground chamber where you collect the Endu Shrine Gate Key. If you have not reached it, follow the opening route from the Dagger Belt to the brazier-marked dungeon entrance and descend to the central shrine.

1. Identify the chest in the key chamber.
2. Check the wall opposite that chest and use Interact, E on the default keyboard layout.
3. Enter the revealed passage to find the gourmet meal.
4. Return to the key chamber before looking for the separate weapon room below.

The original Steam player report and full-game exploration guide both place the meal behind the wall opposite the chest. No extra dash upgrade is specified for opening this wall; the ranged dungeon-door switch is a separate interaction.

Early secret 2: Pandora Blade behind the brazier wall

Stay in that same shrine-key chamber, but inspect a different wall: the one with the fallen or broken brazier. Interact with the concealed wall, enter the skeleton-filled room, and collect Pandora Blade. It is not the meal passage opposite the chest.

The Steam report and GamerBlurb route agree on the brazier landmark and weapon destination. The Steam community guide additionally describes the broken pedestal and nearby shrubs. You can return for this weapon after the first boss; see Pandora Blade for its separate movement controls.

These are two documented early examples, not a count of every hidden passage. A beach skeleton is another reported lead, but the sources do not provide an equally precise independent approach, so it is not presented here as a complete route.

Do not confuse entrance slates with Trident locks

Obmuer Temple's entrance has four triangular sockets and requires four Triangular Slates from the flooded ruins. That entrance requirement differs from the Trident-Key gates inside the temple. Identify the doorway before searching for an item that belongs to a different mechanism. See the puzzle guide and Trident reference.

Recognize mechanisms inside the Tower

Use the Azure Torch on numbered gargoyles 3 and 7 to open the documented interior passage. Incorrect activations can trigger enemies, so additional numbered statues are not automatically additional required targets. The combination is described in the puzzle guide and exploration account.

Below the Storm Gem platform, reach and activate the switch that rotates the staircase. Follow its new alignment to the elevator, then speak to Budaen for the Forbidden Archives Key. This is a mechanism-and-route sequence, not an ordinary concealed wall. See the staircase account and exploration reference.

Why is Tower flesh still blocking me after Necronomicon?

Defeating Necronomicon is not described as automatically removing every fleshy obstruction. After obtaining the Acid Vial, use basic throwing daggers to destroy these barriers. The documented continuation includes growth near the Archives-key NPC's area on the route toward Deimpo Mausoleum. See the acid-upgrade explanation, player barrier report and continuation account.

Use Necronomicon for the encounter pattern and post-boss distinction.

Compare older route failures with named patch fixes

Official Steam patch 1.01.01 was posted October 30, 2026. It lists fixes for the Executioner door, the Pit of Despair soft lock and missing water-return pits around Neasied. Consult the official patch entries for those specific symptoms rather than using them as a general explanation for every obstruction.

Scope

This page covers two early secret-wall routes and selected later barrier requirements. It does not claim every passage, a measured map size or individual slate pickup routes. Demo movement exploits and guaranteed recovery from failed jumps are not included.

The four-slate entrance requirement is independently shown in the progression video at 2:56–3:41, alongside the written puzzle guide. These entrance slates are separate from reusable Trident Keys inside the temple.
